The Lodge

Remota is a world-class refuge in the vast Patagonia, where our visitors are received and welcomed as guests to our great house, attended with dedication, delicacy and concern for their interests. We have a building of more than 7000 square meters that has 72 rooms of 33 square meters each and large areas dedicated to leisure, reading and contemplation, heated pool and saunas, shop, bar, lounges and of course a dazzling restaurant that offers the best food, prepared by our renowned chef. This work has been designed with the purpose that our visitors live and feel Patagonia, also from inside the building. The architect Germán del Sol –National Architecture Prize- proposes a work that does not compete with its surroundings, where nature is always the main stage. A warm ecological refuge connected with the outside, inspired by the old Patagonian shearing sheds tilted by the wind.

Location

Latitude (L): 51 ° 42 '30 '' S / Longitude (G): 72 ° 30 '30`` W Remota is strategically located on a virgin land of more than 50,000 m2, facing the sea (Seno de Ultima Esperanza) far enough from the City of Puerto Natales (1.5 km), to feel Patagonia and its silence, but at the same time a ``walking distance`` from this beautiful city, geographic and cultural center of Chilean Patagonia, located 250 km north of Punta Arenas, 4,250 km from the South Pole and 2,000 km south of Santiago (3.3 hours flight from the city of Santiago).

Rooms

Our rooms are spacious (33 m2), unique, all with a privileged view of the mountains, fjords and glaciers, designed and decorated with the intention of approaching and introducing our visitors to the environment of Patagonia, using Noble materials, native aromatic woods and the best equipment and products to allow a total rest and disconnection. We have 72 rooms, all of the same size, where have 23 with one queen bed and 49 rooms with two single beds.

Gastronomy

We have a high-level kitchen, where our internationally renowned chef has designed a menu proposal that includes the finest local seafood, exotic meats from the region, organic vegetables harvested in nearby gardens (with alternatives for diners with special requirements), accompanied by the best Chilean wines and a wide variety of pastries and bakery items produced in our own bakery.

Excursions

Our primary objective is to show our visitors -in the best way- all the wonders of this vast area. To achieve the objective, we have a select group of our own bilingual guides, who we permanently prepare and train both in knowledge of the places, as in history, geology, paleontology, glaciology, flora and fauna, horseback riding, first aid, among other disciplines, to fulfill in order to deliver a unique, exclusive, first-rate and unforgettable experience.

We have a fleet of our own vans with professional drivers to carry out the transfers and excursions of our visits.

Space for total leisure. Our relaxation area has a 15 meter long heated pool without borders, sauna, 2 massage rooms and an area for loungers and rest.
